WebREADME for Perplex project ===== Perplex (aka Perple_X, PerpleX) is a geological thermodynamics program, written by Jamie Connolly at ETH Zurich, with some recent additions by Dave Hirsch at Western Washington University. Most of Perplex is written in Fortran, with some recent bits written in C. WebIt combines PERPLEX thermodynamic forward modelling for a bulk rock composition along a P-T-path with control of diffusion rates in the matrix fluid which acts as a transport medium in the intergranular space. Initial REE distribution is controlled by standard distribution coefficients.
