It mentioned some rifles shouldn't be dry fired because that could damage the firing pin. Ok my question , is it safe to buy dummy rounds and fire them in an AR? If the M&P 15-22 uses a firing pin based on the Ciener .22 conversion kits (no idea if it does) then the firing pin will crack in half in short order.
