After the bolts are loosened with the 12-pt then a regular 10mm hex (Allen) wrench can be used to back them out. Webb1 apr. 2024 · Remove the bolts to the thermostat housing and position aside. When I was in the end of my last year of school, our instructor set up a torque testing rig and asked all 20ish of us in the class to tighten the bolt to 30ft lbs. A class full of certified professional bolt tighteners couldn’t accurately torque the bolt by hand.
