WebWhile Slack has repeatedly stated that they'd never develop read receipts, we believe managers don't want to keep asking their teams if they read their messages and teams don't want to be micromanaged. There needs to be a better solution for everyone than using emojis to track acknowledgement and engagement. WebTo see or change this option, select Settings and more to the left of your profile at the top of Teams, and then select Settings > Privacy. From there, turn on or off Read receipts. Important: Your admin decides whether you can turn this setting off. See who’s read your message in a group chat
