Meraki uses NAT on the AP's to allow for the handing out of addresses for the guest networks whose SSIDs they broadcast. WebCurrently for our FortiAPs, are connected to FortiSwitches (I believe 224D) which each have a separate fiber running to them from a Cisco 3850 (only used for fiber to FortiSwitches) in our DC. Those FortiSwitches are only there for one thing, for the FortiAPs, so the switches literally have 3-4 APs plugged in and that is all.
